Support Policy
This page describes the technical support provided with AKB Project products, who can access it, which activities are included, and which services fall outside standard support. This policy supplements our Terms and Conditions.
1) Support
We provide technical support through our ticket system for AKB Project products.
Support mainly covers installation, configuration, use of available features, and investigation of issues directly related to our products.
Before opening a ticket, we recommend checking the documentation and any available FAQs.
Public documentation pages are freely accessible and can also be used without an active support plan.
1.1) Type of Support
Support is provided through tickets.
To allow us to properly investigate a request, the customer must describe the issue clearly and provide all information necessary to reproduce it.
We do not provide support through comments, reviews, social networks, or other channels that are not expressly indicated as official support channels.
1.2) Response Times
We aim to respond to support requests within 48 business hours.
Requests are handled on business days, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
Response times may vary depending on the complexity of the request and the checks required.
2) Language
Support is available in English and Italian.
Requests must be written clearly, completely, and understandably, including all information useful for investigating the issue.
3) Support Access
Technical support is available to customers with an active updates and support period.
The number of websites covered depends on the purchased plan.
Product updates and the related coverage are managed through the license codes associated with the purchased plan.
Once the updates and support period expires, the customer may continue using the products already installed, but renewing the plan is required to receive new updates and technical support.
3.1) License Codes
License codes are used to associate updates and the services included in the plan with authorized websites.
The number of websites that can receive updates and support depends on the purchased plan.
License codes must not be shared, transferred, or used in a way that does not comply with the conditions of the plan.
3.2) Updates and Support Period
Each plan includes the updates and support period indicated at the time of purchase.
Renewal after expiration is optional and is not processed automatically.
4) What Support Includes
Standard support includes assistance related to:
- installation of AKB Project products;
- configuration of available features;
- use of documented features;
- investigation of reproducible errors;
- issues directly related to our products;
- clarification regarding official documentation;
- investigation of compatibility issues directly attributable to our products.
Support is provided exclusively for products developed and distributed by AKB Project.
5) What Support Does Not Include
Standard support does not include:
- development of custom features;
- custom graphical or functional modifications;
- code customization;
- general Joomla training;
- general website management;
- server configuration or management;
- issues related to hosting, DNS, or email services;
- issues caused by third-party extensions;

- modifications to Joomla core files;
- migrations not provided by the product;
- website redesign;
- support for Joomla, PHP, or other versions and requirements no longer supported by the product.
Activities not included in standard support may, where possible, be handled as paid services.
6) Supported Joomla Versions
Supported Joomla versions are specified on the individual product pages and in the related documentation.
Support is provided exclusively for Joomla and PHP versions compatible with the product being used.
We cannot guarantee support for obsolete, unsupported, or incompatible versions.
7) Third-Party Extensions
Our products are designed to work within the Joomla ecosystem and, where possible, with commonly used extensions.
However, we cannot guarantee compatibility with every extension, template, plugin, or customization developed by third parties.
If an issue is caused by a third-party product, support for that product remains the responsibility of its developer.
When we recommend a third-party product, that recommendation does not imply that AKB Project provides technical support for it.
8) Information Required for Support
To properly investigate a request, we may ask for:
- URL of the affected website;
- detailed description of the issue;
- steps required to reproduce the error;
- Joomla version;
- PHP version;
- version of the AKB Project product being used;
- any error messages;
- temporary access to Joomla administration;
- FTP/SFTP access, if necessary;
- access to the hosting control panel, if strictly necessary.
Credentials must be provided exclusively through the channels indicated by our support system.
For security reasons, we recommend using temporary credentials and removing them once the support intervention has been completed.
9) Inability to Provide Support
We may be unable to provide assistance when:
- the website is not accessible;
- insufficient information is provided to verify the issue;
- the error cannot be reproduced;
- the issue depends on third-party software or services;
- the environment does not meet the product requirements;
- the website contains modifications that prevent a proper diagnosis;
- the access required to perform the necessary checks is not provided.
10) Paid Support
Activities that fall outside standard support may be evaluated separately.
Examples include:
- customizations;
- custom development;
- graphical modifications;
- advanced configurations;
- work on existing websites;
- migrations;
- specific integrations;
- assistance with issues not directly caused by our products.
Before proceeding with paid work, the scope and cost of the intervention will be indicated where possible.
11) Enterprise Customers
Support for Enterprise customers may be subject to specific conditions agreed separately.
In these cases, the conditions defined in the commercial agreement take precedence.
12) Resellers and Indirect Customers
Standard support is provided to the customer who directly purchased the product or plan.
For products purchased or installed through a reseller, agency, or external provider, support may be handled through the party that made the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

Support Policy
2) Lingua
- installazione dei prodotti AKB Project;
- configurazione delle funzionalità disponibili;
- utilizzo delle funzioni documentate;
- verifica di errori riproducibili;
- problemi direttamente collegati ai nostri prodotti;
- chiarimenti relativi alla documentazione ufficiale;
- sviluppo di funzionalità personalizzate;
- modifiche grafiche o funzionali su misura;
- personalizzazioni del codice;
- formazione generale su Joomla;
- gestione generale del sito;
- configurazione o gestione del server;
- problemi relativi a hosting, DNS o posta elettronica;
- problemi causati da estensioni di terze parti;
- problemi causati da template o codice personalizzato;
- modifiche ai file core di Joomla;
- migrazioni non previste dal prodotto;
- redesign del sito;
- URL del sito interessato;
- descrizione dettagliata del problema;
- passaggi necessari per riprodurre l'errore;
- versione di Joomla;
- versione di PHP;
- versione del prodotto AKB Project utilizzato;
- eventuali messaggi di errore;
- accesso temporaneo all'amministrazione Joomla;
- accesso FTP/SFTP, se necessario;
- il sito non è raggiungibile;
- non vengono fornite informazioni sufficienti per verificare il problema;
- non è possibile riprodurre l'errore;
- il problema dipende da software o servizi di terze parti;
- l'ambiente utilizzato non soddisfa i requisiti del prodotto;
- il sito contiene modifiche che impediscono una corretta diagnosi;
10) Supporto a pagamento
- personalizzazioni;
- sviluppo su richiesta;
- modifiche grafiche;
- configurazioni avanzate;
- interventi su siti esistenti;
- migrazioni;
- integrazioni particolari;
